WELCOME TO THREE LAKES MEDICAL CLINIC
DEAR PATIENTS, PLEASE READ EVERYTHING BELOW- THERE IS A CHANGE TO LAB ACCESS DETAILED BELOW ALSO.
PHONES: We have 2 new phone numbers , please use the one appropriate for you ( SEE ABOVE). The phones will be manned by an MOA, 8.30 to 5pm Mon-Fri ( closed 12.30-1.30pm for lunch)
We are making telephone appointments with your doctor initially. If needed, we can also schedule video appointments. Increasingly we are able to see you in person, in our office, but rest assured we have agreed strict policies regarding this to minimize risk of cross infection. Please read this letter about our gradual reopening.
IF YOU NEED PRESCRIPTIONS OR TO SPEAK TO A DOCTOR, PLEASE PHONE OUR OFFICE AND TALK TO AN MOA.
PRIVATE NUMBERS FOR PHONE CALLS:
PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR PHONES WILL ACCEPT CALLS FROM PRIVATE NUMBERS, WE WILL BE MAINLY CALLING FROM HOME TO MINIMIZE CONTACT AND WILL BE USING OUR OWN PHONES WITH THE NUMBER BLOCKED FOR OBVIOUS REASONS!
If you do have to attend the office, please come alone if you an able bodied adult. One adult can attend with a child, but try to leave other children at home or with others. Similar with older or disabled adults, only one person if possible, social distancing is extremely important. Anyone not needed, may be asked to leave and wait in the car or outside.
The Vernon Jubilee Hospital Lab, Sterling Centre, Armstrong Pleasant Valley Health unit and Enderby labs are all now requiring appointments for blood tests. Should you need to attend please call a central number 250-558-1261 Mon-Fri between 11am to 2pm.
The Valley Medical lab at Railway Plaza ( North Vernon) is closed. The Valley labs on 30th in Vernon remains open and does not require an appointment as yet.
All drivers medicals have been suspended by the government.
No sick notes are required for anything at present- your employer cannot request one.
ALL PEOPLE WHO HAVE ANY UPPER OR LOWER RESPIRATORY SYMPTOMS EG A COLD, EAR ACHE, CHESTY- ANYTHING- YOU ARE REQUIRED TO SELF ISOLATE FOR 2 WEEKS. We need to take these infections out of the community to make COVID 19 easier to spot and also because some of these in younger people may be COVID 19!
We have developed a Covid 19 safety plan for our office reopening as per WCB guidelines. The document can be accessed here.
Welcome to our website. On it you will find information about our clinic, advice about minor illnesses and self help plus links to some excellent resources for patients.
